hey. my name is daniel jenkins, i live in gippsland outside of melbourne. i found your page on Model Mayhem and am looking for a variety of models for a project i am working towards, an exhibition next march, 2010.

i am an art photographer and have been for a very lot of years. i work in the non-mainstream exhibition world...some current photos for this project can be seen at:

my income work is as a doco filmmaker working in community services and i also make films for jazz musicians and improv dancers that end up on sbs on occasion...). i've been shooting nudes for over 30 years. this project includes a retrospective.


i get to melbourne frequently for jobs and shoots and have three sets i am doing in October and two in November.

can you give me an idea what area you are in? i am currently shooting two MM models who live out here, "blue velvet" and sarah rijs. blue vlevet (cassandra) has two sets on the first website i mentioned, the set called "cass" and the set called "off the wall." her sister, sarah, is shooting here next week.

the website has a variety of "ages" of models and i am working across a broad spectrum to a theme of antiquity and obscurity and i like pushing boundaries that make the viewer a bit nervous. but in a shoot i work still within the limits of the model. all my work is nude to some degree and can involve some very surreal settings or plays on traditional classic themes. your MM page suggests you are adaptable. that appealed to me.

i can work to TFP/CD or to a fee, depending on the fee, of course. i do not cry poor but i have to budget...this exhibition of 60 new works (still shooting, nearly there) is costing a bomb. but i am putting all my financial efforts into making this good so if we can negotiate a compromise of TFP/CD and fees then that would work well for me.

i don't have a profile on MM yet, just haven't got around to it. i am on facebook and am very daggy with my friends. but some of my models have become friends and we share chats behind the scenes. i like to stir. but my work is varied. the second website has pics of various things i have done over the years, including some years in the fetish scene and the adult dance-party scene. i film and photgraph for Saints and Sinners as well as Hellfire and the upcoming events including S&S, Hellfire and Fetish Expo.

ok, i won't go on any further. i am strictly a hands-off photographer, only interested in shooting for my exhibition.

pretty much anytime. i live in east gippsland, metung. but i travel and have a kind of mobile lighting and backdrop setup that i carry with me to turn the smallest spaces into a "studio" set. the "ladies" set was in the Ibis hotel in melbourne... but i also have a small studio out here where i live. the other shoots were done here.
